Matcha Smoothie Recipe

How to Make a Matcha Smoothie

Here is a unique recipe for a delicious and nutritious matcha smoothie. The ingredients are a healthy blend of greek yogurt, matcha green tea powder, spinach, kale, banana, almonds, dates, and chia seeds.

This smoothie is perfect for a quick breakfast on the go or even to enjoy as an afternoon snack. It will provide you with protein that will keep you fueled, antioxidants that will protect your cells and keep you healthy, and of course, the benefits and vitamins of the other fruit and veggies in this smoothie.

Greens - I love to add greens to my smoothie because I know I get so many nutrients and vitamins. Spinach and kale contain Vitamins A, C, and K, calcium, potassium, iron, zinc, and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Matcha Green Tea Powder - Obviously, our Miaroo Matcha is the one to use! It is the highest quality matcha, and it's full of nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants.

Protein - in my green smoothie, I add a little bit of greek yogurt for the protein. This helps to keep me satisfied for hours. Many probiotics in Greek yogurt also help with digestion.

Fruit - bananas are what I usually add to any smoothie. A half goes a long way. I will get my potassium, electrolytes, and prebiotic fibers.

Natural Sweetener - I choose to add dates in my smoothie as a natural sweetener. By doing so, I am avoiding processed sugars and aspartame.

Chia seeds- are high in fiber that helps lower blood pressure levels. Chia seeds are rich in minerals, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants.

Let’s make a smoothie!

Ingredients:

1 cup of milk- I use almond milk

½ cup of greek yogurt

1 handful of organic spinach

1 handful of organic kale

¼ cup of sliced almonds

1 tbs chia seeds

2-3 pitted dates

2 cups of ice

2-3 tsp of matcha powder

½ banana

Pour everything into the blender and blend on high until you see one color. We are looking for that emerald green shade.

You can garnish with chia seeds and sliced almonds.

Enjoy!
